Choose one factor of underrepresentation from the Annex (e.g. Social Barriers). Identify an example of an underrepresented learner accordingly (e.g. learner with migratory background) – see Chapter 2. Think of one action that you could take to engage and/or support them in your role (e.g. a School Day for student groups to learn about different cultures and languages; or a ‘Welcome pack’ created by students to welcome new, foreign students in the school).
