Module 3.1 – Understanding Learner Engagement in VET

This module aims to introduce participants to the fundamental concepts of learner engagement and help contextualise these within their own Vocational Education and Training (VET) institutions.

Expected Learning Outcomes

By the end of this module, participants will be able to:

  • identify four key domains of learner engagement;
  • understand strategies for effective learner engagement in both formal and informal settings;
  • recognise inclusive practices in learner engagement;
  • identify barriers faced by students from diverse backgrounds and propose potential solutions.
