About this Course

As student support staff, you play a critical role  in helping to create an environment that is welcoming, supportive and empowering for all learners.  By understanding and promoting inclusive learner engagement, you can help ensure that all learners have the opportunity to participate and have impact on their VET institution.

In this online course, we will introduce the key principles and practices of inclusive learner engagement, explore practical skills needed to create an inclusive environment , facilitating meaningful student-led initiatives and address the roles of VET institutional governance, student unions, and assessment processes in ensuring institutional inclusivity.

Whether you are a new or experiences learner support staff member, this course will provide you with the knowledge, skills and resources you need to promote inclusive learner engagement and support learner success.

This course exist  of 18 modules covering different topics. We invite you to browse the course content and to learn from them in their own time and pace. The modules of the online course are designed in a way that they can be followed in full or as individual topics where you may like to learn more about, in the order you prefer.
